Shane A. Stephens

Shane A. Stephens, 51, of Linton, IN passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Deaconess Middleton Hospital in Evansville, IN.

            He was born in Linton, IN May, 1 1972 the son of Claude Stephens and Edith (Close) Stephens.

            Shane worked for Jackson Brothers Sawmill in Linton, IN. for 25 years.

            He was preceded in death by his parents, also two brothers, Darrell Stephens, and Terry Stephens, three sisters, Barbara Stephens, Elizabeth Stephens and Jessica Stephens.

            Survivors include seven brothers, Kenneth Stephens of Booneville, IN, Charles E. Stephens of Linton, IN Jesse Stephens of Indiana, Charles R. Stephens of Linton, IN, Floyd Stephens (Jesse) of Linton, IN, Everett Stephens (Kimberly) of Shelburn, IN., Kaven Stephens of Texas, two sisters; Claudia Wright (John) of Dugger, IN and Brenda Plano of Carbon, IN. and several nieces and nephews.

            There will be no services, the family has chosen cremation.

            Arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home.
