Sheila Kay (Land) Alumbaugh

Sheila Kay Alumbaugh, 66, of Dugger, IN passed away peacefully with her family by her side Thursday, June 24, 2021 at her residence.

            She was born in Sullivan, IN April 20, 1954 the daughter of Jake Land and Helen Bonham Land.

            Sheila was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Dugger, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, also a son, Greg Holbert, two brothers, Mark Land and David Land  a sister, Tina McKenzie and a nephew, Dane Tuttle Land.

            Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Monte Alumbaugh whom she married on June 26, 1985, three sons,  Dale Holbert, Greg Alumbaugh, and Clint Alumbaugh all of Dugger, IN, two daughters, Cheryl Lickliter (Mark) of Bainbridge, IN and Jody Squire of Cass, IN, three brothers, Jimmy Land (Joyce), Billy Land (Becky) and Lonnie Land (Cathy) all of Linton, IN, five sisters, Carol Land of Dugger, IN, Lena Beard (Kevin) of Linton, IN, Bonnie Helms (Barry) of Dugger, IN, Wendy Chesterfield (Johnny) of Dugger, IN, Regenia Robinson (Brent) of Linton, IN several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

            Funeral services will be at 2:00PM Tuesday June 29, 2021 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN with Bro. Steve Talpas and Kevin Beard officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM Tuesday. Burial will follow in the Dugger Cemetery.
