Steven Dewayne Talpas

Steve Dewayne Talpas, 83 of Dugger, Indiana passed away November 11, 2023 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.

            Steve was born August 14, 1940 in Sullivan, Indiana, the son of Steven Joseph Talpas and Ada Mae (Secrest) Talpas. He was the Pastor and member of the Bible Baptist Church in Dugger, Indiana. He was the owner of Talpas Concrete Construction that he started in 1975.

            He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Shirley (Griffith) Talpas.    Survivors include his son, Steven S. Talpas of Sullivan, Indiana, his daughter, Carol Beth Archer (Mark) of Dugger, Indiana, his brother, Gene Talpas (Cindy Mullis) of Dugger, Indiana his sister, Dorothy Griffith of Dugger, Indiana, two grandchildren, Kyle and Chaunisty Daniels, and his companion Karen Bonham.

            Funeral services will be held at Bible Baptist Church in Dugger, Indiana at 11:00 A.M. November 15, 2023, with  Steven S. Talpas and Pastor Joey Gambill officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. November 14, 2023 at the Bible Batist Church in Dugger, Indiana. Interment will follow in Dugger Cemetery in Dugger, Indiana. Services were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, Indiana
