Veletta Goldman, 91 of Dugger, IN passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021at Autumn Trace in Linton, IN.
She was born in Fort Branch, IN January 9, 1930 the daughter of Elisha McNew and Pearl Tolbert McNew.
Veletta was a florist for several years at May’s Flower Shop in Linton, IN, she was a member of the Dugger American Legion Auxiliary Post #224 and the Sullivan Home EC Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, also her husband, Robert Goldman and her son, Larry Goldman, two brothers, Hulett McNew, and George McNew.
Survivors include one son, Tim Goldman (Cathy) of Dugger, IN, a brother, Jack McNew of Bloomington, IN., four grandchildren, Joni, Scott, Chad (Sheena) and Kelli, nine great-grandchildren, Zach, Wes, Waylen, Henry, Alice, Kaitlyn, Wyatt, Grant , Lilly, and several nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.
Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Tuesday October 12, 2021 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home with Bro. J.B. Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00AM until services Tuesday. Burial will follow in the Dugger Cemetery.
