Vonda I Smith, 91 of Dugger, IN. passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Glenburn Nursing Home.
Vonda was born on December 5, 1922 in Sullivan County, IN. the daughter of Mack Stringer and Mae Arney Stringer. She was a member of the Jasonville Assembly of God Church.
Vonda was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Russell Smith, one brother Charles Stringer, and one sister, Dorothy Leigh.
Survivors include five sons, Bruce Randy Smith (Susie) of Dugger, IN., Robert L. Smith (Jenny) of Dugger, IN., Rich Smith (Debbie) of Dugger, IN., Rex Smith (Lori) of Jasonville, IN. and Ron Smith of Dugger, IN., eleven Grandchildren and seventeen Great Grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM Monday June 2, 2014 at the Dugger Cemetery with the Pastor Sam Bush officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home.
