ABBEVILLE, AL- Warren Leon Andis, 89, Abbeville, AL, passed away Friday April 8, 2022.
He was born April 5,1933 in Sullivan County, IN. He graduated from Pleasantville High School.
Warren was a retired Tool Maker for Delco-Remy, a Division of GM. He was a Past Master of Fellowship Lodge 681 Anderson, IN. He was also a member of York Rite in Anderson. He enjoyed restoring cars, bass fishing on Lake Eufaula, AL, and visiting his children and grandchildren on Morse Lake in Indiana.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn. He is also survived by his two sons, Steve (Peggy) and Randy (Deborah), as well as grandchildren Ryan (Shandy), Reid (Alyssa), Andria (Keegan) Cherry, and Ross (Amanda), and great-grandchildren Sean Oldroyd, Tyler and Jack Andis, Hadleigh and Presley Cherry and Amelia Andis.
Warren is proceeded in death by his youngest son, Brian Kent Andis, and his parents Willard and Georgia (Buck) Andis, as well as his sisters Wanda (Mowery) and Wilma “Wink” (Layton-Dowdy).
Masonic Burial Service will be held at Fellowship Lodge 681 on June 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Dugger, IN on June 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
