Ev will be dearly missed - she was always a joy to talk to, see in person and just be there when I needed to talk. I will sorely miss our phone calls - the hugs when I came back to the reunion - the laughs - the smiles and the genuine feeling of love that she expressed, not only to me but to the whole family. Going to miss you Ev - sorry I can't be with the family at this time but they are in my thoughts and prayers.

What a dear friend and wonderful neighbor for many years, to 3 generations of our family : Addie & Frank Walters, Helen & Jim McKee and Terrie Kay McKee & husband Bruce Crowe. Always there for us with a beautiful and sincere smile, helping hands and a welcoming heart. What would we, all in turn, have done without you? "The Hill" on West Main won't be the same without you, for yet another of its anchors has been released.
We will miss you dearly.

Aunt Ev, I'm really going to miss you. I still have the hats we bought in Paducah at the quilt show. You were a great friend, you will be missed.

When I first began my teaching career Aunt EV introduced herself to me and, after a sparkling review my service, she proceeded to welcome me to the community. I suppose every year since that early beginning I have been to gatherings where she would be in attendance and she NEVER missed the opportunity to seek me out and give me a pep talk. Through the years I grew to love aunt EV just like her family members - and I feel that I bacame a part of her family with the mutual respect and love we had for one another. I join the family in the sorrow they are most surely feeling at this time but I rejoice at the opportunity to join aunt EV once again when my time on this earth is over. God bless you aunt EV - you are already sorely missed.

Evie was my dear cousin and was like a sister to me. She was a funny, giving, caring person to all that knew her. We grew up together and I have many wonderful memories of her. She will be dearly missed. Love you Ev, June.

Aunt Ev was an amazing woman, She became a second mom to me and Rick, I know she'sin heaven looking down and telling us not to mourn her but to celebrate her life.
She helped me through some really horrible times and kept me going when I thought it was impossible. Words can't begin to express the love we have for her.
I know some day when we all meet again to quote one of my favorite songs "what a day of rejoicing that will be"
