Dixie C (Deiss) Goodman

                        Dixie C Goodman, 72, of Brooklyn, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at Legacy Assisted Living in Jackson, Michigan.

            She was born on December 14, 1944, in Sullivan the daughter of Noble Deiss and Villa Howard Padgett. Dixie graduated from Pleasantville High School in 1962 and worked as a beautician.  

            She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include one son, Greg Mason (Katherine) of Martinez, California, two brothers, Lonnie Padgett (Linda) of Ft. Wayne, and Michael Padgett (Sheree) of Linton, and two grandchildren, Sierra and Noble.

            Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 31, 2017, at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger with Bro. J.B. Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Tuesday.
