Betty Rene (Hardesty) Thompson of Ennis, TX, formally of Linton, IN passed away Thursday October 2, 2014 at Baylor University Medical Center.
Betty was born on January 20, 1958 in Sullivan County, IN, the daughter of Robert G. Hardesty and Mary Lou Archer Hardesty.
Betty was preceded in death by her mother Mary Lou Hardesty and one nephew, Waylon E. Souders.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Thompson, her father, Robert Hardesty, two sons, Terry R. King and Kyle L King, both of KY. She leaves five grandchildren, three sisters, Sue Souders, Jeannine Denman (Ralph), and Angie Hardesty, one brother, Jason Hardesty, and several nieces and nephew.
There will be a visitation on Saturday, November 1, 2014. Friends may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Newkirk’s Funeral Home. Immediately after there will be graveside services at Oaktown Cemetery with Glen Archer officiating.
