Clayton Maurice Rogers

Clayton Maurice Rogers, 71, of Dugger, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.
He was born on December 14, 1943, in Belton, Kentucky the son of James E Rogers and Magdalene Whitaker Rogers. He was a member of the Linton Moose lodge # 1434.  
He was preceded in death by his father, and one brother, Gary McElwain.
Survivors include his mother, Maggie Pogue, his wife Dereta “Rita” Williams Rogers of 53 years whom he married on May 25, 1961, three daughters, Marsha Rogers of Louisville, Kentucky, Kim Rogers of Dugger and Kristy Rogers McCammon (Nick) of Linton, one brother, Donald Rogers (Sandy) of Linton, two grandchildren, Rayven Knotts and Adara McCammon.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM, Sunday, January 25, 2015, at Newkirk’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Dugger Cemetery located in Dugger, Indiana. Friends may call from 11:00 PM until service time on Sunday.
