Clifford E. Bedwell, 83, of Dugger, IN passed away at 4:15 PM Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Sullivan.
He was born in Sullivan Co., Indiana April 19, 1932 the son of Walter Bedwell and Bessie Fisher Bedwell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, also a brother; Raymond Bedwell, two sisters; Anna Mae Blake and Maxine Rose.
Clifford was an Army Veteran in the Korean War, a member of the Sullivan VFW post #2459. He was a farmer, drove a school bus for Northeast School Corporation, also worked at the Federal Housing in Terre Haute, and the Green Thumb National Guard Armory.
He is survived by two sons; Danny Bedwell (Donna) and Brian Bedwell (Sobe) all of Dugger, IN, six grandchildren; Lacey, Chris, Dakota, Heather, Jessie, and Danny, ten great grandchildren, and a special niece Cindy Ball (Mickey) of Linton, IN.
Funeral services will be at 1:00PM Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN with Pastor Darren Sluder officiating. Interment will follow in the Dugger Cemetery with Military graveside services by the Dugger, Sullivan, Shelburn, Hymera Legion Posts and the Sullivan VFW Post. Visitation will be from 11:30AM until services Sunday, December 6, 2015.
