Frank Marcotte, 93 of Dugger, IN passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, IN.

            Frank was born on December 15, 1924 in Bourbonnais, IL the son of Ralph Marcotte and Rosella (Mercier) Marcotte. He was a World War Two Navy Veteran, a member of the Linton American Legion post # 22, the Linton V.F.W. post # 7118, the Linton Knights of Columbus, and a member of St Peters Catholic Church in Linton, IN.

            He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Karen Ann Marcotte, three brothers, Kenneth Marcotte, Euchrist “Mush” Marcotte, and Ralph “Red” Marcotte, three sisters, Phoebe Ealy, Henrietta Chamness, and Rose Longtin.

            Survivors include his wife, Eleanor L. (Burke) Marcotte, three sons, Ralph Paul Marcotte (Patty) of Valparaiso, IN, Gerald Wayne Marcotte (Alice) of Westville, IN, and James “Jimmy” Marcotte (Shelly) of Dugger, IN, four daughters, Catherine Marie Gismondi (Nick) of North Carolina, Mary Lynn Fournier (Allen) or Hampden, ME, Elaine Hardesty (Larry) of Carlisle, IN, and Monica Bedwell (Calvin) of Linton, IN, one sister, Patty Ann Perreault of Kankakee, IL, sixteen grandchildren, and twenty four great grandchildren.

            A Rosary will be held by the Knights of Columbus at 9:30 AM Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the St. Peters Catholic Church in Linton, IN, a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 AM with Father Thomas Biju officiating. Visitation will be 8:00 AM to 9:00AM at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger; IN. Interment will follow the Christion mass at the Dugger Cemetery, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Peters Catholic Church or the Linton V.F.W.
