Hubert O. Pitcher

Hubert O. Pitcher, 85 of Sullivan, IN passed away, February 2, 2015 at Millers Merry Manor in Sullivan, IN. He was born May 13, 1929 in Pleasantville, IN to John Pitcher and Nola Monk Pitcher.
Hubert was a Member of the American Legion Post # 101 and the V.F.W. of Lowell, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Wanda Schiessle Pitcher, four brothers, John Jr., Wayne, Glenn, and Jim Pitcher, one sister Virginia Sluder.
Survivors include three daughters, Terri Hadley of Jasonville, IN, Cheri Slover (Brent) of Linton, IN. and Jackie Haddix (Dave) of Sullivan, IN., one sister, Bonnie Stuller (Kenny) of Paxton, IN., and seven grandchildren, Shane Hadley, Travis Hadley, Josh Meurer, Joie Gadberry, Ryan Slover, Evan Slover, and Luke Haddix.
Funeral services will be held at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, IN at 2:00 PM Wednesday February 4, 2015 with Pastor Jeff Blansett officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 AM until services on Wednesday. Interment will follow in Morris Chapel Cemetery with Military Rites by the Dugger American Legion.
