Margie Ruth Decker, 85, passed away at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, FL on July 14, 2014.
She was born in Sullivan County, IN November 17, 1928, the daughter of Alto and Clarice Hutchison Enochs.
Margie lived in Sullivan Co., IN until 1984 when she moved to St. Augustine, FL. Margie was a wonderful woman who had many talents, interests and hobbies. She was a world-class quilter and a beautiful seamstress. Margie enjoyed square dancing and anything associated with the beach especially sea shells. She was also a member of Homeport Christian Church.
A beloved sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she will be deeply missed by her surviving family members which include two sons, Michael Flinn of St. Augustine, FL, and Larry (Julia) Decker of Yorktown, IN, sister Marlene (Larry) Lucas of St. Augustine, FL, five grandchildren, Melanie, Natalie, Chris, Craig and Jennifer, ten great grandchildren, Megan, Haley, Abby, Landon, Addison, Avery, Hayden, Brady, Liam, and Isadora, two nieces, Jena Johnson, Jeanne Delph, nephew Randy Alexander.
She was preceded in death by her parents, also her first husband, Wallace Flinn, second husband, Andy Decker, one daughter, Patricia Flinn, sister, Mildred Alexander, and a granddaughter, Jessica.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, July 21, 2014 at Newkirk’s Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Carmichael officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt Moriah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until services Monday.
