Stephen Brown, 66, of Sandborn, Indiana passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at his residence in Sandborn, Indiana.
He was born on September 5, 1948 in Gary, Indiana the son of Chester Norman and Bonnie R. Page Brown. Stephen graduated from high school and received his associates degree. He was an avid bow hunter and won a state award for his bow skill.
Preceded in death by his mother Bonnie R. Brown and three brothers; Michael Brown, Jerry Norman Brown and Charles Dale Brown.
Survivors include his father Chester N. Brown, daughter Kelly Mardis of Portage, Indiana, and granddaughter Cassi Mardis of Portage, Indiana.
According to Stephen’s wishes cremation is scheduled and a private celebration of life will take place.
