Vincent James Goodwin, 75, of Dugger, IN passed away at his residence Monday, June 29, 2015. He was born in Salem, IN November 17, 1939, the son of Ray Goodwin and Loretta Ray Goodwin.
Vincent was a Vietnam Navy Veteran, retired from Crane Naval Weapon Support Center, and was a member of His Church in Dugger, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a step mother; Katherine Sampson Goodwin also a brother; Larry Goodwin.
Survivors include two sons; Mark Marsh of Sullivan, IN and Vincent “Jamie” Goodwin Jr. of Dugger, IN, two brothers; Ray Goodwin Jr.(Jean) of Florida, Robert Reed (Judy) of Mt. Carmel, IL, two sisters; Barbara Pyatt of Ohio and Marilyn Gouckenour (Tony) of Linton, IN, five grandchildren; Gage, Sheldon, Kelsey, Logan and Josh, one great grandchild; Kaden.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2015, at 2:00 PM at His Church in Dugger. Arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home
