Wanda Lee Fainot, 83, of Dugger, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, September 08, 2016, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Sullivan.
She was born on December 14, 1932, in Sullivan the daughter of Robert Dickey and Marthel Waymeir. She was a beautician, a manager at Hallmark in Sullivan for fifteen years, and she retired from GE in Linton. She was a member of Bethel Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Fred Fainot.
Survivors include her son, Jim Fainot of Terre Haute, two daughters, Penny Cornelius (Larry) of Dugger, and Connie Loudermilk (Jay) of Sullivan, six grandchildren, Bobby and Lori Cornelius, Jesse Wolfe, Jennifer Maggart, Amanda Lumpp, and Sara Fainot, and eight great-grandchildren, Eloise, Hudson, Teegan, Gauge, Jett, Ivy, Savannah, and Drevon.
A graveside service will be held at Dugger Cemetery on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at 1:00 PM with Pastor Randy Tucker officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
