William Joseph Hayden, 76, of Jasonville, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at Sullivan Co. Community Hospital in Sullivan.
He was born on December 2, 1937, in Graysville, Indiana, the son of George Dewey Hayden and Mattie Bowns Hayden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, William Hayden Jr, two brothers, and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Crusie Hayden of Jasonville, three sons, Oral Dewey Hayden (Catherine) of Linton, Daniel Hayden of Jasonville, and Jacob Hayden of Jasonville, one daughter, Ellen Hancock (Robert) of Linton, eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Cremation is scheduled. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements were entrusted to Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger, Indiana.
